shangai (baoshan), china
Day 1
shangai (baoshan), china
Departure: 16:30
Shanghai is a modern city situated just south of the mouth of the mighty Yangtze River and divided in two by the Huangpu River. It's one of China's largest metropolises and is considered the most cosmopolitan, sophisticated and progressive city in mainland China. Shanghai is a great place to visit if you want to get a glimpse of China's future. A whole new city of skyscrapers has been constructed in its Pudong district, including the Oriental Pearl Tower, which has become one of the city’s landmarks and is one of the tallest structures in Asia, and the Shanghai World Financial Centre, the third largest building in Asia and the world. On the west side of the Yangtze River is the Puxi area, the older central part of the city. Puxi has a rich history and it's here where you'll encounter many of the city’s old buildings and attractions, such as the French Concession, the Bund, the Yuyuan Garden, the Jiu Qu Bridge, the Huxin Pavilion and the Temple. Shanghai is China’s cosmopolitan hub of finance and culture. Shanghai has a special oriental charm and a fresh western style that appeals to everyone. And it's also a good base to explore the more rural and classical sights of nearby Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.
jeju island, south korea

Day 3
jeju island, south korea
Arrival: 07:00 - Departure: 18:00
Jeju Island is the largest island in South Korea, located in Jeju Province (Jeju Special Self-Governing Province). The island covers an area of 1,833.2 km² (707.8 sq mi), accounting for about 1.83% of South Korea’s total land area. In 2020, it had a registered population of around 670,000, the highest of any island in the country. The island sits in the Korea Strait, just south of the Korean Peninsula and the South Jeolla Province. Jeju is South Korea’s only self-governing province, meaning it’s administered by local residents rather than politicians from the mainland. Kimnyeong Beach marks the northern tip of Jeju Island, Songak Mountain its southern end, Suwolbong the western edge and Seongsan Ilchulbong the eastern point. Lying between the Yellow Sea, the East China Sea and the Sea of Japan, Jeju occupies an important economic, political and military position for South Korea. The island was formed by the eruption of an underwater volcano roughly 2 million years ago. It’s home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes. Jeju has a temperate, relatively mild climate; even in winter, temperatures rarely drop below 0 °C (32 °F). It is a hugely popular holiday destination, and a significant share of the local economy depends on tourism and activity linked to its civil and naval base.

Fukuoka is regarded as the best city in Asia to live in. Some of the main tourist attractions in Fukuoka include the Hakata Gion Yamakasa Festival, which is considered one of the most fascinating festivals in Japan; the Shofukuji Temple; Canal City; and the Yatai (food stalls).

Day 6
kobe, japan
Arrival: 06:30 - Departure: 22:00
Kobe (神戸, Kōbe) is the capital of Hyogo Prefecture and one of Japan's ten largest cities. Situated between the sea and the Rokko mountain range, Kobe is also regarded as one of Japan's most attractive cities. Kobe has been an important port city for many centuries. Its port was among the first to be opened to foreign trade in the 19th century, alongside the ports of Yokohama, Nagasaki, Hakodate, and Niigata. In 1995, Kobe was struck by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, which claimed the lives of over 5,000 people and destroyed tens of thousands of buildings. Today, the city is completely rebuilt, and few signs of the terrible event remain.

Day 9
tokyo (yokohama), japan
Arrival: 06:30
Yokohama is the second largest city in Japan and one of the cities most accustomed to seeing foreigners. Yokohama is a modern international port city filled with sightseeing spots and an exotic atmosphere that can be traced back to its historic opening as a port. The Yokohama Landmark Tower at 296 m is one of Japan's largest buildings and the centrepiece of the Minato Mirai 21 (MM21) development. The Landmark Tower was completed in the early 1990s. There is a viewing gallery on the 69th floor - the Sky Garden, accessed by a super-fast lift, with excellent views on a clear day.
