Flowers Fair

Day 1. Medellín: Arrival at the José María Córdova International Airport. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Accommodation.

Day 2. Medellín: Silletero Experience – Santa Elena (Shared Service): Take the opportunity to immerse yourself and learn about the daily life of the people who live in Santa Elena, known for its traditional flower work displayed in silletas. This tradition gave rise to the city’s main festival, the Feria de las Flores, held in August, where the main figure is the silletero, the name given to local farmers.

You will visit a traditional family that has been dedicated to flower cultivation for more than 50 years, experiencing their cultural, family, and environmental richness firsthand. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 3. Medellín: Optional Activity: Breakfast at the hotel, optional activity (additional cost), and accommodation.

Silleteros Parade Event (shared service): Flowers are a distinctive symbol of Medellín, and the Feria de las Flores is the most important cultural festival of the year. Local growers, known as silleteros, come from Santa Elena to participate in this celebration. Their impressive floral arrangements (silletas) represent a unique cultural expression of the Paisa region.

At the scheduled time, pick-up from the hotel lobby and transfer to the event venue to enjoy the Silleteros Parade (Main Event only for August 9).

Duration: 8 hours

Day 4. Medellín: City of Eternal Spring with “Florecer” Event at the Botanical Garden (Shared Service): Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transportation service will take you through the vibrant historic center to Plaza Botero, where you can enjoy an open-air exhibition of sculptures by Fernando Botero.

Then, at the Medellín Botanical Garden, experience the “Florecer” event, showcasing rich local and international flora, including orchids, tropical plants, and themed gardens. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
