Day 1: Rabat The Moroccan Capital

After landing at Casablanca Airport, we’ll begin our journey with a drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, beautifully situated on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the Bou Regreg River opposite Salé. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Rabat’s historic medina offers a rich blend of history and culture as we visit the Royal Palace (Dar al-Makhzen), the medieval fortified necropolis of Chellah, the iconic Hassan Tower with the Mausoleum of King Mohammed V, and the historic Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the river. The day concludes with a visit to Rabat’s colorful night market in the medina, where lively street food and local atmosphere bring the city to life. Overnight in a 4 star hotel in Rabat


Day 2: Chefchaouen The "Blue Town" In The Rif Mountains

We’ll drive north toward the Rif Mountains, making a short stop in Ouazzane, the spiritual center of Morocco’s Sufi order, where we’ll explore its medina and see the distinctive green mosque. Continuing on, we’ll arrive in Chefchaouen, famously known as the “Blue City” for its blue-washed buildings and admired for its Andalusian architecture, shaped by Muslim and Jewish builders expelled from Spain in the 15th century. The day is devoted to discovering Chefchaouen’s enchanting medina on foot, strolling through its picturesque alleys and blue houses, visiting the Ethnographic Museum with its displays of traditional clothing, jewelry, and daily-life utensils, and ending at Ras El Ma, a refreshing natural water source renowned for its cold, clear water. Day 3: Volubilis & Meknes The Imperial City

We’ll drive south to the ancient Roman archaeological site of Volubilis, where we’ll explore its impressive monuments and mosaics from the Phoenician-Roman era, once a major center of olive oil production. Continuing to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four Imperial Cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we’ll discover its rich history and magnificent architecture on a walking tour through the medina, including the Mausoleum of Moulay Isma’il, the Qubbat al-Khayyatin, the monumental Bab Mansour gate, El Hedim Square, and the Sahrij Swani water basin built to supply the city from the Middle Atlas. Day 4: Fes Medina (Old City)

Fes, the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco, is composed of the historic medinas of Fes El-Bali and Fes El-Jdid alongside the Ville Nouvelle built during the French colonial era, with its UNESCO-listed medina forming a fascinating labyrinth of ancient alleys. On a guided tour mainly on foot, we’ll explore both the old and new quarters, immersing ourselves in the atmosphere of the medina as we wander through narrow lanes lined with artisan workshops and traditional shops. Highlights include Fes El-Jdid with its Royal Palace (Dar al-Makhzen), the historic Mellah (Jewish quarter), Ibn Danan Synagogue, and the Jewish Cemetery, as well as Fes El-Bali’s iconic sites such as Bab Bou Jeloud, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine Museum of Wood Arts and Crafts, the Zawiya of Moulay Idris II, the University of Al-Qarawiyyin, the centuries-old Chouara Tanneries, and visits to local pottery and mosaic workshops showcasing traditional craftsmanship. Day 5: Along The Middle Atlas Range To The Sahara Desert

.Prepare for a long and scenic day as we leave Fes and journey through the Middle Atlas Range, beginning with a stop in Ifrane, a charming town known for its alpine atmosphere, where we’ll enjoy a short walking tour and see the famous stone lion carved during World War II. We’ll continue to the Cèdre Gouraud National Park, home to majestic Atlantic cedar forests and native Barbary macaques, with time for a short walk amid the beautiful mountain scenery. Driving south through towns and villages of the Imazighen (Berber) people, we’ll stop in Midelt, once a military post founded by the French Foreign Legion, before continuing toward the Sahara Desert and ending the day near the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Day 6: Tafilalt Oasis And The Sahara Desert

Today we’ll explore the Tafilalt region, the largest oasis in Morocco, on an immersive desert experience. A guided 4x4 jeep safari takes us deep into the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, where we’ll enjoy a camel ride, see vast areas covered with fascinating fossil plates, and visit a nomad tent to learn about traditional desert life. We’ll pass through Merzouga at the foot of the dunes and the unique village of Khamlia, known for its rich Gnawa heritage, and observe the traditional khettara irrigation system still in use in the area, followed by a traditional Sahara-style lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Rissani to visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, founder of the Alaouite dynasty, and explore the historic kasbah and local souk, held on Mondays and Thursdays. Day 7: The Beauty Of The High Atlas Canyons

Today we’ll leave the Sahara Desert and head toward Tinghir, a bustling town at the entrance to the spectacular Todra Gorge. Driving along the Todra River, we’ll take a short walk through the lush palm oasis and agricultural plots, with local guides available to share insights about traditional farming. We’ll then continue to the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs rise up to 400 meters, offering a dramatic setting for a memorable walk between the canyon walls. Day 8: Valley Of Roses And The Kasbahs Road

We’ll start the day driving west to Boumalne Dades and along the winding Dades Valley, carved by the river through a series of colorful canyons. A short hike at the Monkey Fingers Canyon will let us admire its unique eroded sandstone formations. Continuing west through the Valley of Roses, nestled between the High Atlas and Jbel Saghro mountains, we’ll reach the oasis town of Skoura to visit the stunning Kasbah Amridil, one of Morocco’s most impressive kasbahs. Day 9: Crossing The High Atlas Mountains

We’ll drive along the famous Kasbah Road to visit Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and historic fortified village often featured in films. Continuing along the scenic Wadi Melkh and Ounila River, we’ll stop in Telouet to explore the impressive Gloui Kasbah, once a key stop along the caravan route from the Sahara. The journey then takes us across the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with breathtaking views stretching from the Atlantic in the west to the Moroccan-Algerian border, before descending into the vibrant city of Marrakesh. Day 10: Marrakesh Medina (Old Town) The Pearl Of The South

We’ll spend a full day exploring the vibrant Marrakesh Medina mainly on foot, immersing ourselves in the city’s rich history and lively atmosphere. Highlights include the Kutubiyya Mosque, Saadian Tombs, El Badi and Bahia Palaces, the Mellah (Jewish Quarter), Koubba Ba’adiyn, and the grand Ben Youssef Madrasa, before arriving at the jewel of Marrakesh, Jemaa El-Fnaa, the bustling main square full of sights, sounds, and colors. Beyond sightseeing, the day is about feeling the energy of this spectacular city, ending with a traditional Moroccan dinner accompanied by storytelling, offering a memorable glimpse into local culture. Day 11: Berber Villages Of The High Atlas Mountains

Today we’ll explore the stunning Ourika Valley and its traditional Berber villages south of Marrakesh. We’ll visit the charming village of Setti Fatma and take a short hike along rocky trails to one of its cascading waterfalls, followed by a traditional homemade Berber lunch prepared by a local family. On the return journey to Marrakesh, we’ll stop at Oukaimeden, Africa’s highest ski resort, to enjoy spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains. Overnight in a 4 star hotel in Marrakesh.


Day 12: Hiking The Nature Of The High Atlas Mountains

Today we’ll explore the natural beauty and traditional life of the High Atlas in the Imlil area. Traveling up the valley from Asni to Imlil, colorful mountains and sparkling creeks lead us to lush walnut groves surrounding the village. We’ll visit a local Argan oil cooperative to learn about the traditional production process, then spend most of the day on foot exploring the stunning High Atlas landscapes, filled with diverse trees, plants, and vividly colored rocks. The day concludes with a scenic drive back to Marrakesh. Day 13: Casablanca The Moroccan Financial Center

We’ll drive to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and a major economic hub in Africa, home to the country’s chief port and largest fishing port. Our tour highlights include the impressive Hasan II Mosque, the largest functioning mosque in Africa, followed by the Al Hank Observation Deck, a prominent lighthouse and popular viewpoint, and finally La Corniche, the scenic coastal promenade. This marks the end of our journey.
